As director of development, Rosanne brings 20 years of marketing, development and fundraising experience to Mercy Ministries.
Prior to joining Mercy, Rosanne served as director of corporate marketing for International Bank of Commerce overseeing advertising, public relations and marketing for more than 240 branches in more than 100 communities throughout Texas and Oklahoma for 8 years.
Her fundraising and development experience was gained with the Texas Democratic Party and
St. Augustine School in Laredo.
Rosanne said the selfless and tireless work of the Sisters and the staff at Mercy Ministries moved her to return to the non-profit world.
“The magnificent works of the medical staff who serve following the mission of the Sisters of Mercy is inspiring, and the faith-based approach to educating the patients to take ownership of their health is innovative,” she said. “I really wanted to be a part of the solution.”
Rosanne’s own non-profit work includes years of service and membership with such groups as the Laredo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorale, Communities in Schools, United Way, the Texas Exes and Washington’s Birthday Celebration Association. She is currently a member of the Society of Martha Washington and the Heritage Foundation. She is a former board member of the Texas Lyceum and a graduate of Leadership Texas and Leadership Laredo.
Rosanne received a bachelor's degree in journalism for the University of Texas at Austin in 1982. She is also certified by the School of Bank Marketing. |
