In 2002, The Sisters of Mercy established their Laredo ministries as an expression of Mercy's longstanding commitment to respond to the needs of the Laredo community. Primary healthcare, healthcare education, advocacy, and social services are important components of Mercy's mission to serve people in need.

We are founded in the tradition of the Sisters of Mercy and following the example of Jesus, providing primary healthcare, healthcare education and social services to Laredo and the surrounding area. We strive to address the needs of all persons, especially those who are the financially disadvantaged. We demonstrate special concern for the needs of women and children while promoting family values. We collaborate with like-minded providers and partners who share our mission and values.
